PE-RT underfloor heating pipes are currently one of the more commonly used pipe materials for underfloor heating systems. The inherent material advantages of PE-RT pipes lie in their ability to withstand high temperatures and significant temperature fluctuations over long periods. Typically, first-generation PE-RT pipes can tolerate hot water temperatures above 70 degrees Celsius, while many second-generation PE-RT pipes can even handle hot water up to 90 degrees Celsius. However, during use, it’s still important to keep the temperature as close to 70 degrees Celsius as possible and avoid setting it too high. After all, prolonged operation at high temperatures can negatively affect the service life of the entire underfloor heating system, and repairs in case of failure can be quite troublesome.
