We all know that the commonly used electrical conduits include two types: MPP and CPVC, among which... MPP power conduit The standard diameters of these pipes typically range from 110 mm to 250 mm. MPP power conduits are joined by hot-melt welding using a welding machine. The typical melting temperature for the weld joint is around 200 degrees Celsius, and it should not exceed 220 degrees Celsius. Once the required temperature is reached, the two ends can be joined together. Precisely because they are joined via welding, if the weld joint is poorly executed, it could damage or impair the cable wires, or even cause them to become flattened. Therefore, MPP power conduits must be made entirely from virgin material. Pipes manufactured from MPP material can operate reliably for up to 50 years under ambient temperatures ranging from -5°C to 70°C. Additionally, they offer a host of advantages, including high strength, excellent moisture resistance, ease of cable installation, simple construction procedures, and cost savings.
MPP power conduits are widely used in pipeline projects involving municipal utilities, telecommunications, power supply, gas pipelines, water supply, and heating systems. They are particularly suitable for trenchless horizontal directional drilling projects for power cable laying, as well as for open-cut power cable-laying projects. During the transportation and installation of MPP power conduits, it is crucial to strictly avoid any situations such as dropping, impact, scratching, or exposure to direct sunlight, in order to better protect the conduits and ensure they achieve their maximum service life.
